I did well at Party tonight, finished clearing that whopping $75 bonus. One hand REALLY ticked me off though. There should be a rule against this cr*p.
$50 NL, I have AA, 3 people post blinds out of position (!!) so even though I'm UTG+2 I raise it up to $3.50, and get one caller. He's made a bunch of dumb plays and has only $25 in his stack so he's already called too much for whatever hand he has.
Flop is complete rags, like [5c][2d]. I make a smallish CB, like 1/3 of the pot, trying to entice him to play with me because I don't believe he has a hand. He seems to like big cards, not small pairs, so I'm confident I'm ahead.
Well, he does me a favor and pushes all-in on the flop. If ever a bet was begging not to be called, this is it. So I call, fully expecting to be way ahead. But of course Party doesn't show the cards until they're all dealt.
Turn is a K. River is a 9.
He shows K9 and scoops.
