Today, I was all in in an SNG with AA vs A4 and, of course, by the river, the 2 and 3 and 5 all fell right in his lap. That's poker.
MT, you'll love this one. Last week, I saw AA and KK lose to JJ three times when a third J came. A number of times AA or KK lost to JJ. It was a week for Jacks. It happened twice in one SNG. A guy goes all in with KK against a smaller pair and 3 Jacks hit before the river. We all laughed about it. Next week...TENS.
Saw an A high flush go down today to the straight flush. I can only imagine what the guy must have felt when the chips he expected to come his way started sliding across the table. Yikes.
But, the best was yet to come. All in 99 vs AJ and 44. J of clubs on the flop, for two clubs. 4 of clubs on the turn. A club on the river. 9c was the only club to the four flush. There is justice out there, sometimes.
I love these stories, if they're told with a sense of humor. I hate 'em when there's a lot of whining.

ps--I put a guy out today when I caught a river flush. He whined about me chasing, and I said I had the odds, which I did because the kept betting small all the way. He said I should keep reading my books. (How'd he know my mom reads to me?) I went on to win the SNG. My opponent said the guy probably would be surprised I was that good.
