I havent decided where I wanted to play so I dropped some money into full tilt. I bought into a $50 50 player STG. I cant figure out how to get HH's so this is from memory. There are now 7 people left, I am the 2nd big stack. The big stack is an all in moron. He got to be big stacked by raising preflop and then pushing any flop. He has done it twice to KO people from the tournament hitting a 2 outter and a 5 outter. He has already callled my 2000 raise with KQ and flopped a K to beat my QQ. I have 18k chips and he has 24k when the hand starts. The blinds are only 200/400. I have KJo in the BB, villian in the SB min raises. I call as I would with almost any 2 cards. Flop is KJJ and just as he has been doing all day he pushs all in on the flop. I call and the dumbshit has AA. Turn of course is the A and I miss my one remaining out. Top 6 pay in these things so after that fun I miss the money. It gets better, I have to leave for softball steaming just a little. I didnt even realize I left my computer on. When I get home the results page is still up, this guy finished 5th. How the fuck do you finish in 5th when you have 60% of the chips on the table with 6 players left. It's always the clueless morons that KO me from tourneys and then piss away my chips to someone else.

I go back and forth on Mtt's. For a bigger buy in kind of thing I was pretty shocked at how bad some of the players were. With that said these things are still +ev for a good poker player. I am kind of bored with side games right now and was looking for something new. I played a live STG at Venetian and one a Viejas and I had a lot of fun and had really good sucess. The players in both were so easy to push around. I guess I like the Mtt's and STG's because I dont have to be as patient and I can play super agressive and it feels like less of a grind.

Yeah I play softball 2-3 days a week, its kind of my stress relief.
