Point being - I do not see them as copying Clash. I agree, they likely were inspired by their music, along with some other bands along the same lines, but disagree they basically went out to produce music they didn't sincerely want to. I think they really enjoyed making the music they did and didn't steal from anyone in the process.
And I enjoy their music more than Clash's. Call it unoriginal or whatever, there's no point arguing what we can't prove there.
