I think now is a good time to fully understand and appreciate the value of breaking up with someone in a good way, amicable, possibly even sending her flowers once or twice a year following the breakup just to tell her she meant something special to you at one time and you still think fondly of her...

MT, I used to be a college professor ... not anymore.
Principals and teachers shouldn't be banging their students, even the ones who have had their 18th birthday, because of the power differential. Thinking about banging them ... well, I don't have any experience being a high school teacher/principal. But look, college freshmen women on day 1 of class are only 3 months older than high school seniors on their last day of school. Knowing what some of those frosh come in looking like, I'm sure 99% of the male high school teachers are thinking about it, at least occasionally.
