So for anyone who has ever read my journal i was banging my ex there for a while. She came down to see me twice and I went up to see her once and she actually picked me up that time but i took the greyhound home like a week later (3hrs away).

So we have amazing sex like always for a whole week and at the end when we said goodbye she got teary eyed.

The following is all online, our only correspondence except for a couple brief phone calls in the first week

1st week: She talks to me every day on MSN and always comes online to see if im on and tells me she misses me etc.

2nd and 3rd weeks: She asks me to help her with her globalization paper and I fucking cave and just end up writing most of it for her (she did a bunch of research and stuff first) and she promises to give me mindblowing BJs next time we see each other. Aside from that we talk pretty much every day. She says she is going to come here when school is done on the 22nd when she doesnt work.

1 week ago: Plans for me to go up and see her on the weekend fall through

Four days ago: She got pissed like a couple days before this and I didnt hear from her in a couple days.

Three days ago: I say I was thinking about coming up this weekend to see her. She says thats probably not going to work. She works all three days this weekend. I can come up but I might be alone while she is working. I was srsly W...T...F. Very strange.

Two days ago: We have a conversation on MSN and I get the feeling something is amiss. I tell her Im excited to see her again (fail?) and she doesnt really say anything back. So Im like, well she got hammered the night before maybe she slept with someone?

Yesterday: I basically just ask her in a coy way if she has done anything with anyone since and she says no (I guess i believe her). Since she likes her freedom and we arent together I say I wouldnt be mad if you did but I would expect you to tell me and i would do the same for you etc etc etc. She agrees and says that is fair for both of us. I did not press her about the issue but she assured me she hadnt done anything with anyone but one day she might do it. I said ya well prob me too. I said thats totally fine we arent together you can do what you want just tell me if you do (so I can bail). We also discussed it when we first hooked up again and we both agreed it was for the best.

Today: I know she got hammered last night and shes online so Im like whats up. I ask her if she was working in the next week and she said she wont know til friday and I ask her if she is still gonna come down if shes not. She says she is broke and doesnt know so I offer to pay for half her gas (since she is making the whole trip) and she says

"you dont understand I have NO money"

and I was like oh well that sux and she says mayybe but probably not and we chit chat for a bit before she heads off to bed

before she leaves here is an excerpt of the conversation H=her M=me

H: "Did you/do you feel or believe we are going to get back together?"
M: "No why. Do I give you that impression?"
H: A little bit ya
M: Why?
H: Just seems like you want to.
M: Well it wouldn't work since we live in different cities and we dont date very well. I do enjoy partying with you and wish you would come down this weekend cause Id like to see you.
H: Ya I want to too, I just feel guilty
M: Why would you feel guilty?
H: Well its like Im accountable to you. We aren't together but I feel bad I guess
M: Thats weird. You shouldnt feel bad
H: I just feel guilty cause I should be able to see other people and maybe date sometime again and I feel like you would be mad if I did.
M: Ahh k well the reason I was talking to you and stuff last night about it was beecause it seemed like you were giving me the cold shoulder so I just assumed something might have happened with some other guy and if it did thats cool just say so

M: and if you want to you can see other people i dont mind at all just let me know
M: and if its too difficult to see me emotionally thats fine too

SRSLY WTF? I dont get it at all. I give this chick orgasm after orgasm and we have a blast when we are together and she is not like this. Its weird that she is all of a sudden after a month 'protecting her and my feelings.'

dude, john. First of all, I don't like how you approached this whole problem. Like it (in theory) sounds good to say you do what you want to do, and I do what I want, but we just have to be open with each other, but its bullshit.
