Hey all

Just a quick write-up for those wanting to chat with us in the BTP IRC channel. IRC stands for Internet Relay chat and basically it's a chatroom where a bunch of us have cybersex, complain about our bad beats, pronounce how much we suck at poker and occasionally discuss poker strategy. Below are instructions on how to join.

1. Download and install mIRC, you can get it from here:

2. Once it's installed open the program and go File > Select Server. This should bring up a popup box.

3. On the left there's a Category section, click "Connect" at the top of it.

4. Enter your name and email (doesn't need to be real) and type in a Nickname for yourself. You can also put in an alternative incase yours is already taken.

5. Click "Servers" in the Connect subheading on the left.

5. Click "Add" and another popup window should..pop up. Enter the following details:

Description: Freenode
IRC Server: irc.freenode.net
Port(s): 6667

Leave the rest of the fields blank and click ok.

6. Click "Connet To Server" and it will connect for you and another popup window will appea asking you to enter the channel name you want to join. Type #livepokerforum and click ok.

And boom you'll be in. Anymore questions just post in here and i'll try help you out. It really doesn't take long, maybe 5 minutes tops and it's pretty easy to get into.
