Decided to start a journal now that I have re-bulit my BR.
In the last 2 months I have bought a house which took a good 90% of my bank roll. So I took $50 and started rebuilding, I had a tremendous run of luck and cards and turned that into $500 at the $25 NL tables on party. I moved up too $100 NL when I cleared $1000 at the $50 tables and now I have the roll to play the $400 NL tables and sometimes I'll single table a $1000 dollar table but I am very hesitant to get all my chips in without the nuts, I really shouldn't be up there and I don't make a habit of it.
I took a 1 buy in hit today at the $400 level...The one thing I have noticed in this blaze I have been on in the last month is that when I rebuy on one table immediately it's never +EV. So I play one or two more hands on the table(s) where I didn't bust and close that one out as well. Then I either do some laundry or watch TV. come back an hour or so later and start a new session. If I take a buy in hit I'm not on my best game anyway.
I came back to play today and decided to single table a $1000 NL table.
There were a few pretty interesting hands from today, including one where I turned Quad Kings to bust flopped Quad 6's.... I sucked out but he horribly misplayed it I think. I showed strength on the flop and he should have just pushed but he raised me instead, there was really nothing that could be done to avoid it on the villian's end there as all the money is getting in one way or another.
I'm new at this journal thing...more to come
