This 6max stuff is sure swingy when you don't play a lot of hands...

Limping big pairs in EP paid off a couple of times today with stacks...Other than that, I played decent for about 400 hands today...

Have I really seen the light, is this decent and resonable play long term to limp big hands early???

On another note, while I was out in New York City for the week, I took the greyhound down to AC and played at the Taj on night...

I managed to lose about $130 playing 3/6 limit...

A couple of hands....

I flopped a straight holding a Qs10c...Huge pot with 3 players left at the showdown...

Guy rivers a Royal Flush with a Q10 of hearts in his hand...

Another hand,

I flop top two with AQs on a flop of AQ5...with no draws to speak of...
two guys to the showdown as the dealer pairs the 5 on the river...

One guy shows down J5 and the other guy showed 75...the SOB's split the pot.

Lucky players like that and a 5 dollar max rake, make this a game I don't want to play again...

I only got my money in two or threee times today behind...I was about ready to go give up and go for a harley ride at the bottom of this swing...

Only played 500 hands today and managed to only lose about 30 bucks...

Turned a wining session into a losing session when I played a hand which I will briefly describe below...

I have dropped a couple of tables and I will see how that affects my win rate for the next few thousand hands. I don't think that I am playing terrible poker, but I have seen my share of beats. Couple that with several bad plays on my part and that is why I am done a couple of hundred bucks... It has been fun so far learning 6max...

It seems like all of my big losses come from hands like this...I need to be more patient and lay these hands down rather than go broke with top pair...

Went to my local casino last night...

I played 2-10 spread limit and cashed out 107 ahead after 4 hours. I went with my father in law and he lost his initial 150 buy in so we cut or trip short. It was a total limp fest...

6 and 8 people to a flop...

I raise to 12 with KK and I still get 4 callers.

I am happy with my little cash out, after my bad luck in Atlantic City a couple of weeks ago.

Well,

I lost over 400 of my roll a couple of weeks ago, and I have been playing tourneys and the small rebuy tourneys to pass the time...

I don't know if I have what it takes to be a good recreational player online...

I seem to always do decent at the Casinos when I go, the only bad thing is that the closest casino is 2 hours away. I guess in 3 to 4 months, I will be moving to Edmonton, so I will be 20 minutes from several casinos, so that will be nice...

I am going to continue to keep plugging away and see what happens...
