Another standard session, 2 hours of 400-600NL +1K$...*yawns*...

Things are going fabulous pokerwise. I'm playing well, my hands hold up and the old "unbeatable" feeling has grown back strong.

I'm going to start looking for more 5/10 tables the coming sessions and hopefully, just hopefully I will have a few succesfull 5/10 sessions this time. Twice before I have made 5/10 shots at Ongame, the first was a -7K$ disaster session. The second I dropped 5K$ over 3 sessions.

I must admit it is mostly an ego mission, the last weeks 400NL at Ongame have been infested with fish donks and I probably make more $/hour at 400NL now than I would at 5/10 because of the weaker opposition.

I will keep an eye out for 5/10 fish though.

An interesting 5/10 hand yesterday against a good reg.

I openraise [9s][9d] on button to $35. He 3 bets from BB to $150. I have opened alot of buttons so far and I think he is testing me out, I call.

Flop:
[Ks][6s][4s], pot $300

He leads for $180. I float his bet because that board must look scary as hell to him. It will be very hard for him to bet the turn without a very good hand and my [9s] might even be an out.

Turn is a blank (don't have HH but say 3 offsuit, pot 660

He checks, I'm not sure my 99 are good now but let's look at his range:

If he had the [As] he would have shoved the turn I'm sure, so he can't have [As].
In which case he could easily put me on the [As] so he would have to shove the turn with a monster or even TPTK to force me out yet he didn't - he opt to give me a free card- so he probably doesn't have a hand that he wants to felt with.

I push, he folds.

One more session for february to put it and barring a disaster session this month will be my best to date (but not by a large margin).

Interesting hand Cooper. Nice thought process. I would have tried to get to showdown and lost to JJ.

I actually saw an almost identical hand play out yesterday. The board was K high montone, just like yours and the player in position had 99 with the 9 of the suit. I was not involved but 2 aggro regs were, and the player in your shoes shoved his 99 on the flop. Villain called with J[Js], which I was pretty surprised by.
Villain: Why?
Villain: How?
Me: I had a feeling
Villian: Sit in you cretin

I'm running so hot it's scary, today I had a set over set and then this hand followed:

https://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand ... zcbDzcE%3d

Yesterday I stacked a guy on 1000NL with QQ>AK all in pre for a $2K session too.

Probably up 4K$ or so on Cake for March already.

Cake session -1K$

22 vs 77 on a 27J flop, all in on flop = -400$

KK vs AK all in pre, river A = -400$

Lost some more against a donkey who called way too much. Only up 3K$ for the month now :? Hope to put in some good Ongame sessions night time this week.

Short:

Played some 5/10 yesterday, up 3K$ after 20 minutes (lol) and dropped 1K the next hour or so due to some sick river cards and losing a stack with AKs vs QQ all in pre. Ended up 2.1K$ which I am totally happy with. Good days :)

Nothing much to report, been playing some 600-1000NL and have had lots of these small comfortable, unswingy boring sessions around the 400$ mark.

I've had a lot of KK vs AA situations which is keeping my winrate down at the moment, also not flopping that much and almost no sets, at least I'm not getting bad beated as much anymore.

I'll take a break from Poker for easter and not be back until next week.
