Exactly as Roy said. I have a set, HU and I really don't want to chase out any draws here. By the turn, to me, it was fairly obvious he had a king. I really don't want to chase out a big stack here.
The only thing I should of done differently is check/call the river, check folding that river is waaaaaay too weak IMO.
Just a cold deck really. It's just frustrating that on the flop he's a 90-10 dog, on the turn he's a 80-20 dog, yet he nails his miracle card when I've invested 2/3's of my stack into this pot and simply cannot get away from it. I honestly though he had hit two pair, hence the his river raise.
What can you do except reload and try to win it back?
And yes, the varience is high at the moment but give me a table full of clueless donks over nits anyday. I'll have to live with the varience.
