Monthly stats plz...

I ran so horribly bad tonight it makes me sick. I cannot catch a break right now. All of my cbets are either raised, or CRsed by idiots who aren't clever enough to do it without a hand. So they are either hitting or I am running into bigger hands way too much. I lost a hell of a lot of small-medium pots tonight, when I bet my draws and miss and have some 40/12 type show me bottom pair. I had a flopped two pair counterfitted on the turn twice, and had a flush over flush. Yet again, I am flopping absolutely no sets. I get action when I don't want it, 3 bet AA to an UTG raiser and watch everyone fold.

The good news is, I'm playing much better, I have cut out the dumb mistakes and feel more confident. I just wish I could make a hand that either holds up or gets paid off.

Tonight, I was dealt 75 pocket pairs. I flopped one set and made $1.85 from it and lost christ knows how much.

This was my biggest loser for the night. I put the shortstack on a FD and then MP wakes up and cold calls my reraise. I figured he had to have a big heart and his river bet looked like a missed FD.

This is the kind of player I'm up against and getting destroyed by right now...

January has been the worst month since I started playing poker. The bright side is I'm getting coaching from Kenny, I'm cutting out the real bad 100bb mistakes and focussing, getting some good reads and making the correct play.

There's hope for me yet.

WOW.. that last hand.... I mean.. WOW... I had a player like that at a table today.. He called my CB with top set and checked turn in position and checked river in position... And my CB was only 1/2 pot because I knew he's folding everything but the nutterz.. WOW..WOW WOW

And yea.. You obv. ran very very bad in January.. I mean, that setometer is just disgusting, and to see how many times you were setted when you had overpairs.. and that someone scored a K on your AA once in only 3 times.. You sir, ran very badly ..

I don't totally agree with that. I mean sure, part of the make up of a TAG is to lose "too much" money from non SD hands, but to more than compensate with the value you have from SD hands. Having the green below the red/blue is just part and parcel of being a TAG - check out HT2's, he's not much different.

If you're raising OOP PF with PPs and not flopping a set ~1/8 of the time, then it's safe to say the action's going B/C, C/B/F far more often than it otherwise would - this will encourage observant players (and they do exist at iPoker) to float you more, exacerbating the problem, which is what I think we're seeing here. In other words, if JJ had flopped the expected number of sets etc, then the depressed green line would become much less pronounced and his SD winnings would obviously rise a lot.

The last thing to do at this juncture is to start changing fundamentals of your post flop play, when it's obvious you've been on a massive cooler. You have to wait for that to sort itself out first before you'll have a good idea about whether you're folding the best hand too often or not.
