Warning.....this is going to be a long post.
Since I am not playing any poker tonight...it means im done for the month. So how did I do you ask? +$388.44. That's right I played over 21K hands of cash games and over 75 tournaments in October and I didn't even make $400. To expand on that a little, I am running at a whopping 1.2PTBB over my last 35K hands at NL200. I mean WTF!
So why do I think I am making like no money? Plain and simple I am losing far too much money with 1 pair hands, and to even dig a little deeper I am calling off way to many river bets. Take these next few hands for example:
Hand 1: I don't think this one is all that bad, as he could have QQ or KK here, but my problem is I put him on JUST QQ or KK so I will call him down.

( I am discounting other flush draws as I hold the
, so I don't have any reason to reraise there. At best I'm hoping for a chop with another AK.

Hand 3: On this hand I check behind on the turn, b/c I figured he was on the flush draw had gotten there and was going to check raise me. I was hoping I could just call a weak riverbet of his and get to showdown. But he makes a big riverbet, he obviously has the flush AND I CALL ANYWAYS. I don't knwo what I do this.

Hand 4: This hand was very odd... lead weak on the flop into the raiser hoping he would raise me (they often do), when he just called I put him on some sort of draw or maybe AK he just can't get rid of. The
comes on the turn and I check to see what he does, when he checks behind I assume I still have the best hand. I fire out a value/blocking bet on the river and he raises me up. At this point I think I should be able to get away from the hand, but I just can't do it. It is so aggrevating

These hands were all from just last night, but it has been like that the whoel month. Yes I have been making my share of big hands and getting paid off, but I am not minimizing how much I lose with my 2nd best hands and my win rate is suffering.
Anyways, just wanted to vent a little. Not all of us can win $6686876/day playing tournies like Hard some of us have to actually find the leaks in our game and fix them
