Just a kind of FYI post. I've decided that I'm going to finishing editing this post on February 23. That will be 3 months of journaling. My reasons for doing so are three-fold.
First, I'm not keeping this up for bragging rights but kind of as a public service announcement - I would have been real interested to see what a pro was making on a day to day basis when I was starting out and I figure 3 months is a reasonable facsimile of "the long run" and so I figure 3 months serves this threads purpose just fine.
Second, we had a bankroll thread once upon a time and I was asked how I paid myself. I talked about a weekly salary + quarterly bonus. Well 3 months makes a quarter and so I'll finish the thread off my calculating 3 months of salary + quarterly bonus for any interested.
Third, my poker school (no this isn't a sales pitch) is going full time as of Feb 19th and I simply won't have as much time to play after that date. Just for an example:
2/19 - 4 hr class
2/21-2/25 - 4 hrs per day
2/26-2/27- 10 hrs per day
2/28-3/4 - 4hrs per day
3/5-3/6 - 10 hrs per day
3/7-3/11 - 4 hrs a day
I'm supposed to go to New York to give a seminar on 3-12 so... my schedual gets nuts and it's actually worse than this but I can't yet tell you the biggest project but btp-ers will know first when I can.
Anyway, we've got about 3 more weeks of posting on this thread till it's over - just wanted to give you a heads up and take a minute to thank everyone for the threads warm reception. I haven't always had time to spend alot of time going thru all the posts - but it's been kind of grounding to stop in at this post every day or so. So thanks.
