Yeah I liked it a lot more before it became a job...though...in my mind it isn't the "hardest way to make an easy living."

As long as you keep up with game theory, work on your game, keep emotions in check, and have a proper bankroll.. I dunno...just doesn't seem that tough to me. I'ts a great job!

Even though I don't particulary "enjoy" playing as much....I still do appreicate the finer points of the game.

Yes I do have that problem sometimes. Thats why playing 3-4 tables is so key for me. If I only play 2 (unless it's a really high limit)...I will become incredibly bored.

Getting my new laptop, playing on the couch, and making my sessions only 2 hours long has helped a lot in this regard.

7th entry:

April is gonna get owned.
Current mood: happy

Started off this first new week in April with a nice win. Won $155 in 3 hours, playing at my parents house with my laptop. I split the time between RiverBelle and UB.

Prima finally has their hand histories working! I'm putting my stuff back into pokertracker finally. Though I need to buy it again so I can use it on my laptop. Fun.

I'm trying to fix my sleeping shcedule again. I got up at 5am though so I'm a little off. I think I'll go back to bed for another hour or something. I play alot better when my schedule is normal and I have a decent amount of sleep. I hope to put in 6 hours today but at the very least 4.

I got laid over the weekend ( a damn good lay), so my concentration should be better this week. Wish me luck! later.

Im pretty sure you dont need to buy pokertracker again. If you email Pat at pokertracker he will send you the registration code again.

At least he did for me, when my old computer burned up an I lost my PT.

My computer crapped out and they sent me a new code no problem. I also think you can have pokertracker legally on two computers at the same time, not sure about that one though.

Damn yesterday was insane.

Current mood: cool and happy

Well...I've decided to not play on Ultimate Bet for a while. I've had a couple of consecutive losing day and I need to switch around, get some new scenery.

I started my sessions yesterday morning...losing almost $600 in an hour!! Yeah, as you can imagine I was really pissed. I actually tilted (steamed) $150 of that $600..but after that I gathered myself and was ok. B the time the 3 hour session was over I was only down $110 and was extremely happy except for that tilt. I haven't been on tilt in a while and that really upset me that I couldn't get over it and threw that money away. Dumb. I'm supposed to be a pro.

In the afternoon I went over to my brother's house and played another 3 hours while watching the Yankee game. I brought in enough to cover my losses and bring in some money for the day :) so..

Tuesday: $153 6 hours

Not my best score ever..but considering how I started the day I was estatic.

I'm going down to Charlotte today to look at apartments with my friend, so I will be taking the day off. I'm not coming back till tommorow night either; I probably will only be able to get a few hours in on thursday. That being said...my 30 hour goal is still looking good.

On another positive note, I've completely reversed my sleeping schedule. I'm actually waking up in the mornings now rather then 5pm. This is great for not only my poker, but for my happiness as well.

I guess I'll post again when I finished my thursday sessions. Later.

Best cash gameday ever
Current mood: winning is fun

So yesterday I wanted to play about 8 hours. I only made it to 5 because I just decided I'd finish the day over 1k and not worry about it.

friday $1089

Not bad for 1/2 NL :)

What a day! I pulled in $200 from Empire in the morning (signed up for a reload bonus.) Then I played 3 hours on Riverbelle, 4 tabling and made over $800. I have never seen so many fish on any tables. My flop percentage on one table was 60% just seemed like all-ins were everwhere. And all my hands held except for one AK hand. What a day!

I didn't play on wenesday or thursday because I was in Charlotte with Brian, looking for an apartment.

On the really bad news side....my laptop screen broke. No one will cover it so i'm out $1200. Yeah... my laptop was 3 weeks old and neither HP or Circuit City gives a shit about me. Lovely. They say it was physical damage but it was in my case the entire time; and i know there was no pressure applied to it. To me the crack looks like ti's from the inside. Also the touchpad stopped working...odd coincidence. Oh well...

Without the laptop the hours are gonna be harder to put in. I really enjoyed playing on the couch, at Barnes and Noble and the like. Ahh well...hopefully I'll have a never laptop next month. I'll buy it from Staples so I can get better service.

One more thing. I got laid again last night which means I should have some good concentration for today. I hope to put in 6 hours but I may only play 4.
