I can't begin to describe how unsettling this all is. Lately when I'm playing, my brain is overwhelmed with emotions. I swear to you I had tears welling up in my eyes today, watching my AA lose to a J8. I've never had that happen before... ever. There is only so much one person can take. The strain is so palpable right now. I'm in the ocean with thousands of pounds of pressure directly on me.

Last month when I had the 12 buyin downswing; I had doubts as to whether I was a good player. I thought maybe I had luckboxed myself all the way to the top. I don't beleive or imagine that's the case anymore. I know I've gotten here with work and dedication... and that I belong on these limits. At this point I'm thinking this is some kind of lesson. Something to help build my character and make me a better player.

And I am becoming better. My game is on another level now. Unfortunately the only thing I have to show for it this month is a $5k loss. We all know poker is not about results though. At least not in the short-term.
