Its been a little while since I updated this thing, its been a little crazy around here. Summer school, getting ready to move.

I have been playing $100 PLO online the last couple days trying to clear an old $100 stars bonus, been doing pretty well to this point (knock on wood).

I played live for the first time last night since Vegas. Card dead again. I must have seen 20 pocket pairs and only flopped one set. I got AA 5 times and got it cracked by the idiots twice and only got action one time.

Hand 1: Just sit down at the table, 4rd hand I look down at . I raise to $35, get called by the calling station behind me. Flop is J . I bet $50, call. Turn is a black 8. I bet $75, she calls again, ok so she is on a flush draw. River is another J. I check, she bets $60, I call and she shows . Nice of her to leave me with $100, I would have probably have to call all in.

Hand 2: I raise to $30 with K, get 3 callers. Flop is . I bet $60, get called by a different calling station. Turn is another 7. He checks again I bet $100, he pushs all in for $150. I call river is another K. Guy shows down , nice to suck out for a change. Of course dude huffed and puffed about how terrible a beat it was. All I can say is well played sir.

Hand 3: again. This time different donkey in the hand, this time an asain guy who likes to gamble gamble. I raise to $35 again. donkey calls from MP after limping. Flop iis . He checks, I bet $75 he calls. Turn is the , he checks, I check. River is the . He pushs for $500. I fold and show my hand, he shows me J. One of these days outplaying these idiots will go back to me winning.

I flopped one set, raised the old man who bets into meand he folds after calling every freakin raise at the table.

Personal note. I met this totally amazing girl at my table. Totally hot, totally chill, she recently split with her fiance. I always said I didnt want to want to date a poker player, but I would have made an expection, to bad she lives 2 hrs away in Northridge, I got her number and she said she'd meet me at Commerce or the Bike the next time I'm up there.

It was actually pretty damn entertaining to watch her at the table. She is a really solid poker player and a really good reader of players. She went on a mad rush of cards, hit like 3 sets and the nut straight all in 30 min, she went for $300 to $1500. I always love watching guys reactions to woman at a poker table. These guys has no idea what to do with her. She snapped one middle eastern guy with a set vs his AA. Dude was so fuming, a couple hands later she turns the nut straight and takes a big stack from this guy again. He was so tilted he called with TP no kicker. Its pretty funny how guys are a poker table, I really dont give a crap, male/ female, black/ white/ asain they all play their cards, they all have tells. Its entertaining to watch guys get flustered about losing to woman.

Being utterly and completely card dead continues. I played live at my normal 5/5 game. Same bad players but as has been the case the last month, I cant hit a hand to save my life. I played 5.5 hours and it was freakin ugly. People throwing money around like no other and me bleeding off money calling donkey raises and missing. I must have had 20 pocket pairs today without flopping a set. I did get AA once and got to chop with it in the SB.

One decent hand for the day and I get to have the rare pleasure of drawing out. I am the button with QQ. I raise to $40, get called by two players. Villian A start the hand with $250, 2nd player has $500 and I cover. Flop is 1063 with 2 spades. Checks to me, I bet $100, UTG pushs for $110 more, Mp folds. Turn is a , hmm good card but not good card. River is a brick and villian shows 106o for top 2 on the flop.

Overall it was a mediocre session to say the least. Ever since I left for Vegas I have been running like crap. Someday I'm going to go back to actually hitting flops, this game can seem so easy when the cards are coming and you have the right morons there to pay you off, with hands good players can fold. This game can also be so god damn frusterating when I go 10 session without a $100 or better win.

I am still playing really well and getting nothing to show for it. I payed a home game last night, the one with all the guys from SDSU the one I usually crush. A couple really bad players who cant fold.

Hand: I am the CO with AQ. I limp flop is 8. MP bets out $4, I call and does the BB. Turn is the . MP bets $8 this time, I am pretty sure he has a smaller A. He would have made a bigger bet with 2 pair and he raises AK everytime. BB calls again, I think he has to be on a club draw. River is a . BB leads $10, small bet comared to pot size, huh? MP calls, I almost fold but decide to just call. BB has 33 for quads.

Hand: 2: I am the Co with 98d. I raise to $5, get called by villian from hand , and one other player. Flop is 983. Checks to me I bet $10, both call. Turn is a 10. BB bets out $20. I fold, I really thought he has QJ. I ask him to show and he has 103o.LOL

Hand 3: I am in MP with . Flop is , BB bets out $4. mp calls, I call too. Turn is . BB bets out $8, Mp calls, I fold. river . BB bets, mp calls. MP has a flush, Mp has a set of 8's.

Hand 4: I am mp with AA, UTG raises to $4 one caller, I raise to $18. PFR calls. Flop is Q77. Mp bets $30, I push for $60 more and he instacalls with QJ and I double up.

Hand 5: We are down to 5 players now. I am the button with 77. MP limps I raise to $5. Mp calls, flop is KK2. He checks, I bet $8, he calls. Turn is a 3. He checks, I bet $15, he calls. River is a 6. He checks and I check behind. He shows k7o. I guess at least the case 7 didnt hit.

Hand 6: I am Mp with JJ. I raise to $6. BB reraises to $12. I am fucked, I just call, hoping to spike a set. Flop is 1094. He bets $15, I fold face up. This is the one rock in the game, there is no way I'm ahead. He shows QQ.

Last hand: I am the BB with QJ, still 5 handed. 2 players plus SB and I check. Flop is QJ5 with 2 hearts. I lead $5, Mp raises to $15. Rock from above hand raises to $50. He has to have 55, there is no other hand he could have to make the 3rd raise. I fold. MP calls all in with AQ, rock has 55.

This is probably the worst night of cold decks I have ever run into. Somehow I managed to not go broke. I really am playing well, hopefully that will soon go back to winning poker. After the $125 chip dump with QJ I actually won $5 for the night.

Brian obviously you have never tried a long distance relationship. Imagine getting 2 outted in every big pot you played for months on end, that is what a long distance relationship is like.
