well I find the $25 and $50 games are pretty similar, however at $50 (at least on stars) there is some fear of losing a stack, the donks who play $25 are just like "who cares, it's $25 and I have a guthsot, i call"

and yeah I know having only 10 buy-in's isn't that great but I am fairly confident I can beat that game with that.

I have over 30K hands on stars at the $100 NL full ring and another 6K at 6-max so I think I am ok with 10 buy-ins at $50 NL 6-max, of course I could lose it all and be back to where I started, but I think I will cross that bridge when i get there, for right now I am just hoping for some good luck becuase I think the odds of me shooting myself doing this S&G crap is about 50/50 right now!

well after a nice dinner (grilled a chuck roast, made cheesy, garlic mashed potatoes and carrots for the wife and I) I hit the tables

Then I bought into the $4 + .4 180 max S&G because I couldn't do another bad 1 table one

I played very well and finished 3rd, busted out with AK vs. 88, my play was somewhat questionable. The villian had been re-raising all my raises, so I raised, he re-raised, I shoved he called with 88, eh.

anyway that gave me $86 for a nice hit to nearly double the new baby-roll.

A promising start, but man let me say, $5 sit and goes suck balls. Wow I better have a good run because this is brutal, not sure how other people do it! I am tempted to switch to $10 S&G but I only have about 17 of them in my current roll so I probably need to stay at thte $5 mess for at least a week. Man those players suck

edit: after reading Hardtotell's journal I think I am going to revise my strategy and switch to $10 6-max NL on Stars. I have 18 buy ins and I am more than confident I can crush that game. It only took me one night to realize that sit and goes suck. I now have a ton of respect for the people who grind those out, wow, yuck
