If you noticed in my last post, I was feeling pretty goot about running at 6ptbb/100 for this month.. make it 7ptbb/100 now..

The following hand I had a "sick" (lol) read on the donk who liked to bet full pot into me when I liberally raised OTB or CO after limpers and was betting strong in order to make people fold.. So, I tried to induce another one of his strong bets or overbets and didn't expect he will exaggerate so much right there on flop... I was happy to shove it in and felt good he can't get away from whatever crap he held..

I had the best session ever today... aprox. 1000 hands... +$900 .. $700 on NL100 and $200 on NL200...

BK6 and now Stox are doing wonders for me + I obv. run hotter then I did in December and it all works out nicely.. as it should I might ad..

I ran hot today on sets... an ended with a $120 profit.. I'll take yesterday over today 4evah..

Hand 1 he had flop FD, turn pair + FD, river 2pr...his play wasn't 'terrible'

Clearly not, but he's 84/0 and an uber calling station...these sorts of back-door shenanigans (save the EP9 jokes) are BOUND to happen...

But, YTF did you CHECK the river?! Just bet/bet/bet vs these donks. I'd just shove the river.

At that moment I was thinking of inducing a bet with a busted draw because that was what I was sure he has and was hoping he will bet it.. Clearly, me betting would be better.
But, I do this against many players and if they dont bet the busted draw I write it in the notes. Also, I think donks aggression factor comes mainly from the river aggression while they are super ueber passive on flop and turn. Some of them will bet the busted draw, some won't.
I realize this might be overthinking vs. a donk and I'll just bet against them in the future..

your DEFAULT should be to bet...you only check to induce after you have a read that they have decent river aggression.

I have lost $1252 in 2600 hands today.. I didn't play that well, but was also taken from behind on couple of occasions ..
