Well I've been reluctant to post anything about Cake, party cos I've been running well and and don't want to tempt fate, stupid though that is, and partly because it's not PT compatible and I haven't figured out how to retrieve full hand histories from the server.

Anyway, after about 1600 hands I'm about $1100 up at 1/2. The software's awful so the playing experience is pretty bad, on a par with Bodog I think, so lots of the players are terrible too. I've only cleared $70 of the $500 signup bonus, so I'll be pushed to hit my monthly target of 25k BetFred points and clear this in 3 months. We'll see how it goes.

Wow, what a session. Despite starting off by losing 5 buyins on the same table to the same 2 horrible donks, I still ended up break even for the session, and only hit one set. These prime time Cake Yanks are just completely fucking useless. I just wish I could get up earlier at the weekends.

JJ, Dec hasn't rung me back yet, the rude Oirish bastard, but there's a drinkup Sun lunchtime I expect he'll be at so I'll mention it then. Either way though, let's do it - I deserve an indulgent pre-Xmas treat. Which Sat nights suit you?
