Don't have all my stats from today yet as my computer has been sputterin but the stuff I'm missing like total hands played and stuff I can probably get from other folks tomorrow.

Did a little better today at B2B. Played some PL200 5 Card Draw and MADE money at it for once. Don't know if I'm turnin the corner on that game or if it was just luck this time. But i made enough that I still finished up about 30€ after taking this beat:

I get dealt KKKxx, blinds and one limper to me, I pot it, 1 caller, blinds and limper fold. I draw 2, caller draws 3. I don't improve but figure that even if he caught trips there's a good chance it aint Aces so I pot it again. He Repots it! Ah shiiiiiiiit, could he have had aces afterall? Or maybe have hit all 3 cards? Please god NO! I make the call and he flips over QUAD DEUCES!!!! The stupid bastard called a pot bet predraw with a pair of deuces!!!!! And then drew 2 more! GEEEEEZZ what a luck sack! They say you're supposed to want those kind of people in your game. Well, it sure doesn't feel like something I want in my game when that shite happens. Like I said earlier, at least my session was good enough to withstand that and still be up a good amount.

Tons of 1/2 FR Limit games going there at b2b today. I 5 tabled it for awhile and lost a little bit but overall I won money for the day at b2b and cleared some more of the bonus in the progress.

Tried some PL25 5 Card Draw at PokerRoom but that didnt hardly clear the bonus at all so I quit and went to play some NL100 at the Dise. Won a bit over $70 before my computer rebooted itself two different times. We had a power outage today with a couple blips in the power before it came back on for good and when I fired up the computer again, it's BIOS settings had all been reset to basic defaults and my computer was only running at 600Mhz!!! Well, I got it running again at 2 Ghz but doesnt seem stable because of the reboots. Guess I have a bit more tweaking to do.

Todays Stats: (What I have of them)

Wasa Poker, PL200 5 Card Draw, 50 hands, 40 minutes, $32.82
Wasa poker, 1/2 Limit FR, 5 tabling, 722 hands, 487 minutes, -$21.58

PokerRoom, PL25 5 Card Draw, 50 hands, 30 minutes, -$2.80

Paradise Poker, NL100, 2 tabling, 110 hands, 113 minutes, $72.25

Didn't play anywhere near my normal daily amount today. Instead I got ready for our Sunday ride we are taking to Shoshone Falls on the motorcycle with a group of about 15-20 bikes I think is what it's going to be. Also watched the movie "Mystic River" with the wife. I used to live in CT and the wife worked in Mystic. Needless to say it didn't take place anywhere near Mystic, CT which was kind of a downer as I was kinda hoping to see some familiar places. The movie was decent though even if a bit slow. Sean Penns character is a real shi_t, but he does a decent job of playing the part. Kevin Bacon and Lawrence Fishburne were in this movie to my surprise as all I had heard about the movie was that Eastwood produced it and Penn and Tim Robbins were nominated for Oscars. I think Penn may even have won if I remember right. Anyway, I thought Bacon did a pretty good job and that was a nice surprise as I usually HATE Kevin Bacon! I hadn't liked a Kevin Bacon movie since Tremors and that was quite awhile back. Fishburne does a decent job in just about every role he plays and I like the guy. Overall, not my kind of movie but still worth watching if you haven't seen it yet. Hope I didnt give anything away. If I did, well tough shi_t. It aint like you haven't had a long enough time to have seen it yet.

I really need to stop playing quicky sessions at lunch time. Lost $40 real quick playing 2/4 FR Limit at PokerRoom. Luckily when I played NL100 tonight after the movie I was able to make all that up and then some.

Todays Stats:

PokerRoom, 2/4 FR Limit, 18 hands, 13 minutes, -$40.80

Paradise Poker, NL100, 3 tabling, 216 hands, 241 minutes, $95.15

RB: 0
Bonus: 0

Bonus Progress:

PokerRoom 9 points I think, bringing my total to 41 out of 1500. I think I was miscounting before but got it figured out now.

Sunday I took a day off from poker to go for a motorcycle ride with some friends from work and a local motorcycle club, "Iron Pirates", that my wife knew of because one of her friend/coworkers is a member. Turned into a bit of an adventure. The original plan was just to ride the 140 or so miles to the falls take some pictures, have lunch and come home. Someone forgot to tell the motorcycle club this. We left town at about 11:45 a.m. and headed to the falls but we took the long way so as to avoid a lot of the interstate traffic and to see some countryside. There were about 10 bikes in all so it was a nice group. We ended up stopping along the way to have lunch in this dinky little town called Hagerman. Thought the old lady running the diner was going to faint when she saw all the folks dressed in leather walk in at the same time. Was quite funny actually. As it happens, my wife and I were the only ones not dressed in leather. We've been looking, just haven't found the stuff we want yet. So if you see someone in the pictures not looking like a biker of some sort, that's probably us. Anyway, since a picture is worth a thousand words, here's a novel for ya.

Me & Kevin, the road captain of the motorcycle club. That's my bike with the blue coat laying on it.

The diner we invaded for lunch. Quite the combination of businesses they have. The big guy with his back to the camera is Curt, the club prez. The others are coworkers of mine named Kathy and Pat. You can't hardly see Pat though.
Image

We stopped at a fish hatchery for a bit to see the sturgeon and to stretch our legs.

My friend Liz and I. There's Pat off to the right. (Really only posted this one cuz I'm actually smiling in it. :D )

Karla, Jim, Courtney and Bill.

And finally, Shoshone Falls.

It was after going to the falls that the real adventure began. As I said earlier, nobody must have informed the biker club that we were planning on a fairly short afternoon type of trip. After leaving at 11:45 a.m. we got to the falls at about 6:30 p.m. we finally got home at about 11:45 p.m.!!!! We left the falls and gassed up. Unfortunately, the bike Kevin's wife Julie was riding, konked out shortly after we left for home. It was already raining on us but now the heaven's opened up and it was Noah's Ark Days in Idaho! We managed to limp her bike into Wendell, Idaho and called a friend to bring a trailer to haul it home. Since it was pouring rain we decided to have dinner and see if the rain would let up.
No such luck.
In fact it rained even harder. Finally at about 9:30 p.m., it was decided that those of us who needed to get back home for work the next day would go ahead and leave. (The mother-inlaw was also waiting on us as she was babysitting the kids for a LOT longer than she had planned on.) The rest of them would wait til the truck got there to load the broke down bike and then get a hotel for the night. I wish I hadn't had to work!!!

The next 2 hours was possibly one of the top 5 scariest things I've done in my life. We rode 120 miles in absolutely POURING rain, doing about 80 all the while being passed by crazy bastards in Semi's doing 90!!! Let's just say it made it a wee bit hard to see. It was SO WET, that even though we were wearing "water proof" ski gear, we were both still soaked to the bone and cold as hell by the time we got home!!!

Oh well, it was fun for awhile, and definitely an adventure. In fact it seems the Iron Pirates Motorcycle Club wants us to join their club now. So that should make for more stories in the future! :D

Paradise, NL100, 2 tabling, 138 hands, 153 minutes, $66.45

Bonus Progress:

NIL, although I prolly got a few points for the S&G at PR.
