Had 2 incredibly bad, horrid days on the 2nd and 3rd. But then I had a decent good old fashioned winning day on the 4th and then today I didn't play a ton but did manage to win a couple dollars for my time. I even played a "new" game for me that I had only ever played with play money before. 1/2 Limit Crazy Pineapple at Paradise. I think I will be doing THAT more often as those folks don't seem to have ANY inkling of how to play it. I mean I'm new to it and still I know not to play bottom pair after everyone else has discarded and kept the best hand they can have! Sheesh! It didn't hurt things that I
flopped quads twice in the 20 hands I played either! Once I even got paid off well when the other dude had top boat! SWEEEEEETTTT!!!! Usually it's me on the losing end of that situation. The second time, the other dude folded to my river bet so I didnt make all that much. Is flopping quads any more common in Crazy Pineapple than it is in regular holdem? If not, I doubt I will see quads again any time soon after getting them 2 times so close together.
Played some NL200 at PokerRoom. Just 1 tabled it to clear some points towards the bonus since the NL100 tables looked to be filled with tight ass bonus whores. Have about an hour left there to finish off the 7x reload bonus. Managed to pretty much break even but DID clear a nice amount of points for the short time I played just one table.
Did try some 1/2 LO8 at Paradise also but kept getting beat by this one particular dude who plays any 4 cards he got. Every time I would get ahead in the game he would catch a runner runner of some sort to drop me back down. I happened to be down a little when the table up and died on us so I took my losses and ran. That's when I decided to try the pineapple game.
