Other than that, not too much today. I actually had a23 about 5 minutes beforehand and the wireless cut out. I miss out on a decent pot, then hit the 1 outer.

Still playing at sun poker, still waiting for the damn pin to show up. Kinda feel like I am leaving some bonus money on the table, but hopefully it will show up this week.

The first half of March has treated me very well, hopefully I can carry that momentum over into the second half. I am hoping to get enough hands in to do a 5k hand update by saturday or so.

I'm housesitting for a friend and one of his labs ate through my power cord. I then plugged in the cord, hit the power button and got a huge spark from the cord (which I had not noticed) and watched my computer go black, never to start again.

I took it to the computer repair folks, and they confirmed the fact that I had fried the damn thing when I plugged in the chewed cord.

So I am now the proud owner of a new gateway notebook. Yes I know, I own a gateway. On the bright side, I have a good job, a sweet car, and have..... well, Ill leave that for MVP's journal.

I was talking to the repair guy and he basically said "we can fix it, but if we rip out and replace the motherboard..." and I realized it would be just as much to get a new one.

Considering all I do is check my email, surf the web, and play poker, I saw no reason for all kinds of crazy stuff. This does all I need.

Anyway, I am playing on stars right now, as I have not yet gotten all of my stuff set up on the new machine. I got my sunpoker pin, but now cannot remember my password, because the computer it was on got fried. Im going to call them tomorrow and then deposit on the final 3 cryptos I have not hit this month.

I am hoping to get a good 2,000 or so hands in this weekend, including some limit omaha h/l, which I can multitable and play super tight and will fill my h/l jones and give me a nice alternate game.

I am working on the stars bonus tonight and will be moving on tomorrow to hit some more bonuses.

Going to try to get the Stars bonus cranked out this weekend, or at least a good chunck. Also going to try to get some crypto bonus time in. Hopefully the roll will continue its roll.

Finished up something like 20 today. Won every stud session, but hand some big losing sessions at h/l. I am going to stick to stud for the foreseeable future. Looking forward to my first real weekend of free time and being able to put in some time and get some hands knocked out.

Finished up about 135 today. Played a mix of 1/2 and 2/4. Still going through the moving up readjusting period, but feel pretty good. 2/4 definately clears the FPPs much faster. Ive now cleared something like 350 of the 600 FPPs for the stars reload. Hopefully I can get that knocked out tomorrow (or at the latest monday).

Well damn. Got my cash out from sunpoker today, after playing 2/4 on stars yesterday. Set myself up on the other 3 cryptos so I can get my pins in the mail. I played a bit on plex then put in a good 6-7 15-45 minute sessions on Littlewood while watching basketball today. I had no idea how good a day it was until I was at my apartment picking up some clothes and taking to a friend, who asked me how my weekend had been. I said I had a good day playing poker. He asked how good. I replied that I had started with 150 pounds at one site and finished up at 312 pounds. I said 162 pounds was a good day, and converted it over to +$285. Combine that with a brief session at plex and my 1/2 and 2/4 on stars and it adds up to a +474 weekend.

I also cleared 354 of the 600 FPPs needed for the $120 stars bonus and have about 250 in bonuses pending at other sites for the next 10 days.

Wow, free time. What a concept. I love this one job thing.
Then again, I have a 7:30 meeting tomorrow.

Kind of the way the last couple days have gone. Hoping that the upcoming three day weekend will help my win rate at the end of the month.

Finished the Littlewoods bonus, going to try to get the plex bonus finished this week, then go onto interpoker.

Playing some stars 2/4, but it has been a rough day or two, so to speak

Well that was rather nice. Played about two hours earlier, finished down $10, but cleared a bunch more hands towards the plex bonus for this month. Have about 100 raked hands to go to finish that off.

Then got an IM from my cousin, who is in town. Went and had a couple drinks and caught up with her for a bit.

Came back and played about 45 minutes two tabling. Finished up $111 for a decent day with a good chunck of bonus cleared towards the plex bonus, which is the last monthly I have to clear (besides interpoker, which I will get to next month once I have hit the other 4).

Played a couple sessions at interpoker, finished up about 30. Cleared 14% of the monthly bonus there. Also played some 2/4 at stars, got winner for 110. I need about 150 or so fpps to finish off that bonus.

Just a note on the above play. FatSadMan really shows how PTS has improved my game. This guy (who is at -25bb/100 in my db) has a 4th st AF of 1.56 and a 5th st AF 0.78. I have played a few big hands with him where he had me outclassed on 4th and gave free cards on 5th to other people. I actually took a $48 hand (this is 1/2) off of him when he let me hit my 4th flush card on 5th (and eventually flush over flush him) by calling 4th.

I know that the 4th street call looks bad, but I knew that the rest of the table would not bet into the aces showing and that if I did catch the 10, I would be winning a decent pot. Getting two free cards for $1 was rather nice.

Random bar story of the evening.

Went out to dinner at Lone Star, did some teaching of the merits of wine and matching it to various foods.

Ended up at the hotel bar of the hotel where my cousin is staying. Talking to the bartender, who we had met a couple nights before and had gotten relativly friendly with. My cousin was asking about various froofrey girly drinks, some of which she called martinis. I had and continue to inform her that a martini consists of gin and a hint of vermuth. The bartender was making all kinds of stupid drinks, like edible panties and surfers on acid and such. Someone, who may or may not have been my cousin, asked "how do you make a purple hooter"? To which one of two older guys from texas, who were sitting next to us drinking miller lite immdeately repiled "put a rubber band around it." I nearly sprayed beer out my nose.

Greatest line I have heard in a while.
