This is the largest pot I have ever won online. I have won tourneys that paid more, but this is the biggest individual pot.

This guy had been doing all kinds of stupid agressive things like drawing 4 and making a rough 7 and such. I had actually made two very good hands against him (and one against Rhound) and waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay overbet the pot in the last 40 hands or so. He convinced himself that I was overbetting to push him out so he decided to make a stand.

Well hell, its been an odd month. I was down 400 or so to start, then got sworn in and got my confidence back, then was up 1100 or so, then lost 700 in about 18 hours (including one fun double dip at a higher level, losing JJJ to a runner runner flush, then losing a flush to a runner runner fh in about 14 hands).

Still getting adjusted to 3/6. Played a bit and got stuck about 200 today. I played 5 pots bigger than 100 and lost the first 4 (including having some moron call me an idiot for paying him off when called two raises with no pair-no draw and runner runner runnered himself a flush). Finally won a decent hand to end the session.

(note, uvg and have are two of the worst players in my db and doc had just made two amazingly idiotic plays, so this is based, somewhat, on my reads) and yes, I know that the 4th street cold call kills kittens.

I dont know if I am just tired, worn out from everything that has been going on away from the tables, running bad, playing badly, or what, but something is not 100%.

I could also be going through the "move up, get kicked in the nuts" phase of it all.

That having been said, I got my permanent job offer (and a substantial raise) today.

Hopefully this weekend will go well and things will calm down a bit.

Be glad your opponents refuse to fold; if they didn't, you just might go broke.

Im not quite sure if this is a bad beat or if I should have played it differently. The table was super weak-passive. No one was raising and I had been taking down a bunch of small pots with hands like this. Once the flop comes, I dont see any way to get away from this.
