moving to NLHE is prolly a bad idea. MOve to Omaha. It seems to be easier to beat.

Just played a couple tourneys today.

$10+1 plo - 45th - 0.

$12 turbo 180max - 4th - $158. Was a bit short when we got down to 4 handed. Tried a larger than normal raise with JTo and got pot stuck. Other than that, I was pretty happy with my play. I like the tourney and think that it I will continue to play it (1st is 594).

Also played a couple sngs. Ive been playing the $6.50 turbo sngs when I don't have the time to play longer tourneys and am probably 50% itm in the last 10 or so.

Played the 10,5 and 3r earlier today, with nothing to show for it.

Played the $20 stud h/l tourney and finished 2nd for 240 or so. I think I got a little impatient heads up, but I also got busted by rolled 5s.

A big thanks to woody, Mac, and oats for sweating me there.

Played a couple 5 table turbo sngs and finished itm, then played the $10 horse tourney and bubbled the ft. Got card dead at absolutely the wrong time (the razz and stud rounds once we got to the bubble) and ended up pushing 4646 into aa3a (very well slowplayed) when I was down to 3 bb. Disappointing to not pick up a hand when I could have done some damage, but still a good run.

Played the $20 stud h/l tourney tonight.

this, on the ft bubble, really hurt.

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1643953\

this knocked me out

http://www.pokerhand.org/?1644007

5th for $89.

I would really like to run/play well at a ft one of these days. That and run hotter in the 10r.

Naturally had a `8 buy in downswing over the weekend, some of which was cooler induced (aq <kq on a q35 flop, etc), and most of which was bad play. I lost somewhere around three and a half buy ins with AK, and am still not elated about playing aces. I was playing waaaay too loose (probably 35/30 or so) and have been working on tightening up, particularly in ep.

Still not enough hands to really make a determination regarding how things are doing. Hope to get in another 5k hands in over the weekend, and 8-9k in by the end of the month.

Here are a few hands from this session. By the way, is there any other way to post cake hands besides the links?

Obv always river the underset, just to rub it in. Should I get away from this at this level, particulerly given that the villain is not full stacked?

http://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand= ... wsbMwcA%3d

Here I have 85o in the small blind and flop the straight. Don't know (besides check/superoverbetting the flop) what else to do. As played, Pok said to fold to the turn raise, which is probably a good idea.

http://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand= ... wsbMwcA%3d

Besides running hotter, not sure what to do here. Considering the Ad is out, I can't put villain on anything besides what he has.

http://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand= ... wsbMwcA%3d

Again, besides seriously overbetting the turn, not sure how to play this differently (or if I just need to fade these kinds of hands).

http://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand= ... wsbMwcA%3d

Its nice to suck out from time to time.

http://cakepoker.com/HandHistory/?Hand= ... wsbMwcA%3d

Villain had been very aggressive, making overbets on several streets on almost every hand he played. If I call the flop bet, I am going to face a 1-1.5x pot bet on the turn, so I figured that pushing the flop was the best option.
