round the world tickets are tite.
i like one world (nice airlines... including quantas), but i think star alliance gives some better treatment (e.g., easy/cheap/free upgrades). i recommend you do the research and look into price and "intangibles". fwiw, i find business/first class and usage of airline lounges make travelling a MUCH nicer experience.
there are also some "pacific rim" types of things that one world does that seem pretty cheap. the ticket lets you fly around asia, australia, NA, and SA.
