So I land in JFK airport at about 5:20am and am fucking starving and in need of caffeine and need to poop. Obvious priorities have me at the bathroom within 2 minutes of walking off the plane. I come out and low and behold there is a dunkin' donuts right behind me. I go around to look at the menu and end up having to walk around another corner of the kiosk as the line is so long it has wrapped around.

So I get in line and there's probably about 25 people in front of me when one of the workers comes up to right behind me and says "coffee? donut? hot chocolate? come to this other line" so I hop out and am first in line at this little stand at the back where it's a self-serve for coffee etc. I run good! I get my cup and figure I'll go get a sandwich from one of the places with no lines.

As I'm walking towards where I think my gate is there is some new kiosk just opening up shop. They sell breakfast bagels, rolls, croissants and shit. I get there and the line has literally just started, I'm second in line. I run good! I order a bacon, egg, sausage & cheese roll and I'm eating that atm while surfing on the free internet that Jet Blue is offering. I New York.

So I've been at TS for a few hours now. Oh that reminds me I made a long-ass post on the way here that I'll post up in a minute.

When I arrived I went to check in and discovered that Xaston and I were left with a King bed room instead of a twin-double room like I had asked. That sucks but they gave us some rollaway bed which I guess will do - we can flip for who gets to sleep where or whatever. The room also wasn't ready to go in to so I had to wait around. I left my bags with them and went to gamble!

I found the poker room by following the bad beat stories. I LITERALLY heard at least 6 of them on my way there. I think the tournament had gone on a break or something because people were just flooding out. Anyway. I put my name on all the NLHE lists except the 10/25 game and went out to play some blackjack. 4 hands later and $262.50 richer my name is called.

Anyway I played for less than 2 hours and had a few interesting hands. Okay well like one.

I get OTB and there are like 2 limpers, I make it $30 and get 4 callers. The flop is and the blinds and first limper check. The next guy fires out $75. He seemed a bit passive and had limped a lot of hands prior to this. I just called which I think is correct as everybody in the hands range is weighted towards PPs and SCs to which I don't do too well against. Well, two of the other guys call so it's 4 way going into the turn which is the . They all check to me and I shove which is slightly under a PSB. Everyone folds, the guy to my left said he folded 67 and I kinda believe him.

An orbit or so later I get TT in the BB and there are 3 limpers to me. I raise to $50 AND GET 3 CALLERS, lol. The flop is and I check, it gets checked around. The turn is the beautiful and I fire out $100 into a $200 pot and everyone basically insta-folds.

One of my last hands I get KK in UTG+1. UTG raises to $50 and I make it $100. It folds to him and he shoves for like $190 more, I call he has aces and holds. Meh.

All up made about $400 in the cash game.

Played in the 5/10 cash game last night with a $1k buyin. The game was pretty soft and I ended up making a hair under a grand.

Anyway I get to the table and mistakenly think that I'm the BB but in reality I'm UTG so I post $10 without even looking at my cards and then I guess I checked because action started going around the table - There was a raise to $45 in LP and a caller in between and I make it $150 when I look down and see I have AK. The original raiser (later to be known as the biggest fish at the table - but I didn't know this at the time) thinks for ages then mucks QJo face up and the other guy folds.

I make similar 3bets/squeezes with 88, JJ, 56s and AK again and didn't get called once.

It's folded to me in the CO and I raise to $45 with J6o. The BTN and SB both call. The flop is and it gets checked around. The turn is the and it gets checked around. The river is the and the SB checks, I bet $120 and the SB calls with .

Later on I get and the guy to my right raises to $40 in the CO, I call on the BTN and both blinds call. The flop comes and they check to me, I bet $125 and the SB calls. The turn is the and he checks, I check. The river is the and he fires out $200. I raised to $400 (too thin?) and as soon as I made it the table just laughed and looked at the BTN (nexeternity on stars) and he was sitting there shaking his head and said "I dunno if he's a retard or not" but mucked pretty soon after. He later told me he had JT.

The last real hand I played, the BTN raises and I call out of the SB with . The flop is and I check-call his $60 bet. The turn is some brick and and it checks through. The river is another 6 and I put out $100 and he laughs kinda miserably then folds. I guess he had JJ-KK?!

That's pretty much it. I had KingofCards come down and sit to my left near the end of my session which was stupid since he's a good player and made my life bad in a couple of pots but whatever, he lost a couple of stacks to bad beats and left after a while, then I left shortly after. All up +$965.

Online yesterday was a nightmare and I was stuck about $4k at one point, back to even, then stuck about $3k, then I crawled back to being stuck $1k. Not including donkaments where I threw away $750 or something. Anyway.
