muahhahahha i deposited to Doyles Room yesterday, bonus cleared today!! muchly thanks to this 9 hour session i've just finished  honestly i can't remember the last time i played this long without a break, if ever! I'm up about $600 for the session tho, add in the bonus money and my overall winnings at about $800 :!: i still cant fricken believe it..

2,301 hands at NL100, ptbb/100 is 12.46
584 hands at NL50, ptbb/100 is at 18.73

I'm just waitin for my bonus to come through so i can withdraw and deposit to stars and VC poker, gonna knock those 2 off next. I seriously can't remember being on such a big poker high as this, i'm lovin' it tho :D

New goals

Ok so i withdrew my money from DR and deposited to stars and party for their 2 bonuses. So far i've cleared $100 of party's bonus 10-tabling NL50, im running at about 9ptbb/100 too so that's added another $150 to my earnings..i dont know what i've done but the poker gods are loving me these days. I'm gonna try knock off the rest of the bonuses (3500 raked hands, about 4500 total i'd say) over the next 2 days then clear the stars bonus through SNGs..when all's done and done and if I only play breakeven poker, my bankroll should be at around $2,000, that's not including the bonus i'm due from heypoker but im not sure exactly what that is so i wont add it in until i get it.

So yeah once I finish these i'm gonna split my roll into 2 and leave half of it on party to play SNGs every now and then, and half of it i'll use to clear the tribeca network bonuses, they're just way too good to pass up.. I hope to have my broll up to $5,000 by april 26th (my 18th bday) so then I can take out maybe a thousand and test out some B&M games at the casino.. unfortunately the casino here in brisbane only has limit games (atm) and i believe the smallest stakes are 5/10..so im hoping it's true what everyone says and they play like the 1/2 players on party.

After that I don't really have any longterm goals - i should though so i might think some up now.. I want to leave as much moeny in my poker roll as I can and move up to nl200 at some point, i think i'll give it a try when i have 20 buyins at the level and if i lose 2-3 then i'll have to drop down and keep trying till i break through.. eventually i want to be able to make an (steady) income of $30/hr, which i dont think should be too hard at all if you include bonuses/rb, i'm probably making that now but variance is sure to kick in and knock my down a bit.. also $30/hr equates to a bit more in australian $$ so that's always a plus ++ at that rate, say I put in 20 hours a week, that's $2,400 a month which is a heck of a lot of money for someone my age (not xaston-big, but big) - eventually i'll start taking money out and investing it in the stockmarket and whatnot, although i'm going to have to read up on that first because i'd like to put it somewhere with minimal risk.. If i can do this for the next 4-5 years while i'm going through uni i'll be pretty happy.. </end long post>

I know this is a dumb question, but if you're runnin at ...

2,301 hands at NL100, ptbb/100 is 12.46
584 hands at NL50, ptbb/100 is at 18.73

Why play anywhere else...?

I dunno, i like to diversify my site-playing and my winrates at party/stars have actually been close to what i was making at tribeca anyway.. im sure my party wr will drop but 12-tabling the $20 sngs at stars is clearing $24 bonus/hr (more than DR) and having my ROI at even 10% gives me another $24/hr..which is pretty damn nice and quite sustainable i think.. either way i'll be back to tribeca within a couple of days, also those tribeca numbers probably aren't sustainable, either..

I played my first set of stars SNGs, got really unlucky at the start but came back at the end to only end up down a bit. There werent enough 20s going on to play all 12 of them so i played a mix of 10s, 15 turbos, 20s, and 25 turbos.

Results

Games played

3 x $10 + $1 Regular
2 x $15 + $1 Turbos
2 x $20 + $2 regular
5 x $25 + $2 Turbos

2 3rds in the $10
OOTM in both $15
1 1st in the $20
1 2nd in the $25

I lost KK vs QQ on the bubble in a $25 which I think, if i'd won, would've made this a winning session. I also lost QQ to AK (and on the river too, statistically irrelevant as we were all in preflop but ouch) in another $25 so if those two had gone my way i'd be laughing.

Overall

SNGs: -$50.50
Bonus: +$19
Total: -$31.50

It's amazing what happens when the cards go your way. It's also amazing that i got ITM 8/12 times this last set, with 5 2nds and 3 3rds. If only a few of those were 1sts my winrate would be through the roof, everything seemed to go my way UNTILL i was itm..grr.

I suppose so, but on the flip side of the coin a great day should make up for any bad days i have..

This is true...just been my experience that the bad days are often worse than the great days...maybe not by much...but either way, right, one loss sets you back at least the time you played in losing...and the time it takes to make it back.
