I just lost $1k in about 10 minutes of 6 tables of NL200 6max. AA lost to 44, AJ lost to TT after an A89 flop, yadda yadda etc etc you've heard it all before. I'm taking a break from poker.
My BR has basically been cut in half over the past few weeks. I'm probably going to have to drop down. This really sucks. I feel like i'm currently going through the dreaded "Everybody will eventually run worse than they thought was possible". Funny thing is I know it's possible to run worse than this, and that people have, and I probably will at some stage - that thought is really frightening.
Anyway, i'm sure i'll be hanging around BTP, I just won't play for a while. At least not seriously. I need to regroup, refocus, and start winning again. Somehow.
Poker is silly.
It is not enough to be good at chess, you must also play well.
Somewhere in the world someone is training when you are not. When you race him, he will win.
