anyway short update

May has been sucky month at the tables - cleared the Top Rank 650 euro bonus, won e400 in a bad beat jackpot (str8 flush over str8 flush - don't see that too often!) but haven't played well am down at MTT's and at best breakeven on cash games this month.

As a result I'm $900 up overall but that is rubbish for 50 hrs play ($18/hr - less than half what I think of as the minimum accepatble even if I did play a few more MTT's than usual).

I did have a horrendous run of bad beats in the MTT's, but then that's what theyare there for.

As for Ring I had a good long look at the top 20 biggest winning and losing hands and could see that I am 'frustration calling' big river bets too much when the donk gets there. 7 of my biggest 15 losing hands were big river calls, only 1 of my biggest 15 winning hands was (if you exclude when I called down with the actual or virtual nuts). I have tightened up a bit the last coupld of weeks for a small profit.

Another new standard move I have started is to limp first in on the button with just about any hand - I can win if I hit the flop or if an ace or king flops, it's checked to me and I bet out.. works very close to all the time. Often before here I would raise and get into a blind war with marginal or rubbish holdings. This way it doesn't look so much like a steal as a genuine hand that hits and it has done very well..

Just to put a few bad beats into perspective I heard this morning that the 22 yr old boy who lives with his parents just opposite died in his sleep last night.(epileptic fit) I saw the ambulance and distraught parents and sister this morning...

I am at home (bank holiday here) and meant to do some work but I really donlt feel like it at the moment...I'm going to take some pictures of my beautiful garden in the sunshine instead...

So is P Stars really any good for full ring NL excession? I don't have an account there. I've been multi tabling NL full ring at party lately but the games are pretty tight. I used to play the crypto's and they are good when the idiots bonus whore but full ring is pretty tight there too.

B2B makes me puke, i can't handle the variance and had a bad run there on top of it, so bad I started to think the site was rigged to have more suckouts to make the fish last longer and keep the rake coming. And I've been around a while and had bad runs elsewhere and never suspected anything. Plus there were a couple multi table colluders there.

So is P Stars really any good for full ring NL excession

Last full ring game I played was the BTP Big Cash Game - I'm strictly 6 max nowadays..

I hate Stars for NL Ring - there games are relatively tough and their bonuses suck - only play there when they have a double FPP earn period as I've still got some bonus left to work off..same for UB and Party - didn't even bother with the last Party $100 bonus - can't do better than B2B IMHO..

Went to funeral for the kid in my street this morning - good old Irish Catholic Requiem Mass - maybe 800 people there - it's a big church and standing room only - it was 80 degrees outside and felt like about 100 inside - we gave him a good send off at least

Poker going OK - last night of play at Best Poker will be tonight- bonus period runs out tomorrow- will end up with about 1200 VIP points ($330 in bonus) and am currently in at the table profit there by about $500. So barring a disaster tonight will come out with over $830 profit from 2000 hands - which is $41.50/100 hands. Considering I started by dropping $300 in thefirst 500 hands, that's not too bad at all..

It will be my 4th B2B e650 bonus and I've made good money on all of them.
Got a new one at 66Poker (again e650) that I have until 24th June to work at..so there is no rest for the wicked..
