Played last night. What a great overlay. $8 buy-in with only .50 juice.About $3000 overlay. Finished 9th out of 507. Made $120. Check out my bust out hand. Blinds were 2000/4000 and I was in BB with only 13000 left after posting. Dealt KK. 1 caller back to me. I reraised all-in. He called. HE had Q9s. Flop comes Jd,Th,8s. He flopped str8. I caught 9 on turn but no Q came. Only 1 question did I do right thing by all-in before flop? I figured I did not want limper with Ace and one comes on flop. Most of rest of tourney I played tight and doubled up when I needed and got money in when I was favorite.

Think of it this way... if it would've been heads up w/ you two, and that flop would've come out, you would've pushed anyway... He hit his straight, that's the way luck goes, but you have to play aggressive when you get pocket kings and you only have 3BB left... Sucks, but you still made like 1333% on your money...

How long do you think they're gonna keep having those guaranteed tourneys if they have to dish out that much to have you guys play...

I wouldn't HATE a check there, hoping you can do more than just double up, but moving all in is fine too. Either way, ya just weren't destined to win the hand.

When I'm down to 3xBB I am in "all-in or fold mode". I would have played it the same way. You were better than 80/20 to win but that 20% has to happen sometimes. Just a bummer that it happened to you.
