I was called an idiot for this. It's the $11 $15kG on Stars. We're 2 minutes from the break and still 100 away from the bubble- meaning that blinds go up to 300/600 in 2 minutes. I was just moved as always in these lo-stakes MTT's and it was the first hand that I was dealt.

I dont like it, You still have a decent stack and you are either flipping a coin or way behind. I would fold wait for a better spot. I think the value in these mid pair hands come from their ability to create some sort of a fold equity in the latter stages of a tournament, and here you certainly do not have that.

Idiot is a strong word. I do think its a bad play though. I would insta-muck this. The raise is from UTG, which means he probably has something. Also you do not act last and there are 2 stacks that cover you that could have a better hand.

Yeah, i wasn't taking it too seriously at this point and I just wanted to have re-steal fold equity after the break if I won the hand or just open any 2 and go busto if I lost.

I wasn't sure how bad this was, but i could definitely agree with a smaller range.
