Finally I got one! It was not a huge one, but it was my first MTT win. $5 buy in on AP. 189 entrants. I won $257.98. Which is not a huge amount, but it is a nice boost to the bankroll. I can't possibly remember all of the hands like some of you do, but I do remeber that I got QQ about 8 times, and I only had my money in as a underdog once, and it was a coin flip. I think I played really well. If I get time I may look at the hand histories and post some of the big ones.

how did u do it? like how did u play QQ? Because i get QQ and i go all in when i get it. Is this wrong?

and how did u play in general? how did u get in your chips up? what did u go all in with? in the later stages with around 20 30 people left how did u play? Like what would u raise with and what would u call an all in or go all in with?

I try my best to not go all in especially early in a tourny. In the early stages it is all about surviving, not being the chip leader. Once the blinds increase then you can start being a little more aggressive. Still I would avoid being all-in if at all possible.

Going all-in with QQ is not always wrong, but it certainly not always right either. What positition are you at the table when you get the hand? What action has there been before you? If there has been a raise who is raising, what have they been raising with before? If you go all-in is there anyone left to act afterwards with more chips than you that could possibly knock you out. What is your stack size? If it is low (less than 10xBB) then I would say it is an automatic push.

Grats!! A win is a win, don't shortchange yourself. Winning a tournament is something probably 99% of the playing public will never do.

I actually won the very first tournament ever played, It was a PL tournament and it was i little over a year ago. I had never played NL or PL before that only limit and I won it for the grand price of 60$ or so=)
