I've been playing lots of tournies on Stars since last week. I'm no pro with tourney play but I really feel myself improving a lot. After my cash in the big $350K tourney, I took 13th in the $109 last night, 12th in the $55 last night, and then 4th (out of 200+) in the $109 that finished just now. Cashed for almost $1700. The best part about it is that in each of those tournies, I went out on a bad beat instead of a bad play. That's not to say I'm not angry at the beats themselves, but going out on 75/25s and knowing that you made the right move is what makes me really happy. I'll keep playing 2-3 tournies a day for the rest of the week and see if I have any more good results. And there should be plenty of good hands for me to share with you guys.

I was going to make a run at the TLB - but I decided that in order to win it in a given week you either need to place first in the $200 (or $500) tournament plus a good placing in a couple of others - or you need multiple solid finishes (like 4 2nd place finishes in a $100 tournament, etc).

I've never been even close on the monthly board (I think the highest I got was 300th), but I would imagine it wouldn't be too hard if you played about 1 tournament per day and hit the top 15% about every time.
