Try this for 5 times and see what the result is...it takes guts to do this, and will seem crazy (at first) but you'll steal a LOT of blinds and double up often, and put yourself in good position to get well ITM. (sometimes you'll get the boot too) but if you give it a chance, i think you'll see good results...common error is, people MAY try it once, get booted and think it's stupid....but my results over about 700 sng's show good results...
Ok, here it is...if noone has come in before you, and you've got 12 or fewer BB's...go all in with any A, any 2 face cards, and any pair...that's it. Give it a good chance to work, and let us know how it went...
(i didn't come up with this, that goes to David Slansky, i just dropped his suited conn's...which i think you should save till the final 3 or 4)

...then you have plenty of time to be patient...might only limp in late position w/ small pairs or sc's...or you could raise 3x from the button w/ them if tight players are in the SB and BB, or perhaps w/ suited gapped connec's too...might even make it 4x the BB, since everyone expects a 3x BB bet.(but of course be will ing to let go of these hands if you get RR'd or called...unless you hit them hard on the flop, like 2 pair, a set or higher.
