Sure, if you're going to enter a pot, enter it with a raise of 3-4 times the size of the blind. That is if no one has raised. If there are other players that have limped into the pot and it looks to be a "volume" pot, then it's ok to limp with hands like small pocket pairs or suited connectors hoping to hit a big flop.

Other than that, use your position well, make steals from late position when the blinds get high. And if you sense weakness in situations (like when 6-7 people limp preflop and one of them is NOT UTG), don't be afraid to stick your whole stack in there in the SB or BB with nothing. Esp if there are antes that kicked in.

I was going to say, stick, that were I to deposit on Party and play the freeroll, I might not exactly be considered a "new" player. But, I could do just that, as I've not played on Party itself for almost a year.

I'm going to start a new thread with a great link for freerolls. There is one going on practically all the time. It's not a terrible thing to practice on them, but it certainly can be painful. I'm also not sure if the skills obtained playing freerolls directly translate to a $100-$9 buy in MTT.
