and this is the reason I don't play at stars anymore... because a lot of players just call for no apparent reason.

I will tell you why you called, one, you could afford it... and two, because your opponent was too timiid to re-pop your limp pre-flop and on the flop, so any bet on the turn or river would not complete his story and you check the river?

I just don't get that.. would you have called an all-in on the river, too? Yes, because the odds are just too good to pass up with air.
