Good job! What did you have when you tried to put check all in on the river near the end?

I'll do a full tournament report later today. I'm not sure if you mean chuckey3 near the end of the tournament (3rd to last hand)

Here's that particular hand:

This is the 3rd to last hand of the tournament. Blinds are 1k/2k with a 100 ante and I'm in a strong position with 53770 in chips. Only one player at the table has more than I do and he's UTG in this hand.

I'm in the BB with Q8s (diamonds) and check when UTG (65k) and the SB (13k) limp in. UTG is a solid player and I'd rather not tangle with him; SB has been at my table in other tournaments, but I don't have a specific note about him.

The flop is 553 with one diamond. SB checks, I check and UTG checks. The turn is the ace of diamonds and SB leads out with a minimum bet (2k) into the 6500 pot. I call and UTG folds. The river is the king of diamonds (I have the nut flush) and SB checks.

I bet enough to put him all in (about 10k), he thinks about a little while and folds.

I don't think I played it particularly well on the river - I definitely could have done a smaller bet - but I'm not sure that he would've called anyways - being so close to the money.
