This is funny....real funny.
Blinds at 10 / 20, Hero has 4000, SB has 2000, LP has a bit less.
Hero calls in MIP with Jd 9d, LP calls, SB raises to 80, Hero and MP call.
Pot: 225
Flop: 10c 8c 6d
SB checks, Hero checks, LP bets 85, SB calls, Hero calls
Turn: Ad
SB checks, Hero checks, LP bets 150, SB calls, Hero calls
I called here because i felt i was getting good odds to draw at an open ender with a flush draw on top.
River: Qs
SB goes all in for 800, Hero calls, LP calls all in.
SB shows 8 8 (three of a kind, eights)
Hero shows Jd 9d (straight, queen high)
LP shows 7c 9c (straight, ten high)
What a hand....a pot sized bet by the SB on the flop gets me out as I have no odds to draw at an open ender. The LP slowplays his straight with flush freeroll all the way and loses on the river.
