basically what rhound is trying to say is that you assume that there is no betting after the turn.
If there is a chance you could get 1 (or more) bets on the river, this changes all of your calculations. This is one of the reasons that limit odds are easier to calculate than NL odds. If I have the same situation in limit, the max I can usually win is determined by the betting limits (usually 4 x players in the hand) whereas you have to factor in stack/pot size in nl/pl.
