I am still amazed at how much money I am losing on A2 hands in O8. Negative for the last 4 weeks now. AA2 or AA3 is no better, partially because I generally have odds to chase a high when the low gets counterfeited (and it always does).
Here's a typical situation from a 2/4 table on UB this morning:
I am in MP with AK22 suited (A2c). 3 limpers, I call, 2 more callers including the BB. I don't even bother to raise at this table, it won't scare anyone off that I don't want around, anyway.
Flop comes K45 with 2 clubs. Bingo, or so you'd think. BB checks, EP bets, 4 of us end up calling.
Turn is a J of clubs, giving me my nut flush. BB checks, EP bets, I raise (even though I am probably good for low with 2 deuces I would be happy to take the pot here). BB calls, EP calls. Nice.
River is a corksucking 4, pairing the board. BB wakes up and bets, I make the crying call to see his A34J take the pot with a weak-ass boat. Rinse, repeat as necessary. Lost another big hand when my flopped boat (deuces full of fives) lost to a bigger boat that hit on the river. No low again, of course. Unfarginreal. I finish up a whopping 2 BBs for the day.
I looked through my PTO stats and it's even worse than I thought, since a good portion of the A2 hands that actually won something won because of something other than the A2.
I am seriously considering folding every A2 hand for the next week just to see how much it affects my win rate. I know how it would have affected it if I started doing that a month ago.

Thanks, I feel better now.
