AKKT vs short stack

Postby briachek » Tue Sep 27, 2005 10:22 pm

well, i saw this short stack going in on the flop no matter what. The other guy's call led me to believe he wasn't that strong so I put out an information bet on the turn. Comments?

I decided to look for a safe turn or at least see what he does. When he check, I figured I was good so the bet got information and hopefully a free showdown if he called me.

Hard to see bigcraw calling the flop with a hand you can beat unless he's very poor or is seduced by the (probable) loose bet from the all-in guy. Additionally, you also have to beat the short stack for the main pot. I think I'd fold the flop without some reason to suspect bigcraw is weak. When he checks the turn again a bet is fine I think; i'm not putting another cent in, though.
