Playing short, any bet on the flop commits me. Opponent was neither tight nor loose so far, aggressive, not bad.

I'm not crazy about the flop as I'd need a really good turn card to have a shot at the scoop. That said, I think I think I'm in decent shape for a low.

If you really want to play that short I encourage you to play the NLO8 tables, which are a push happy shovefest anyways. You want to be able to get at least 1/3 of your stack in pre-flop when shortstacking, so you can get all in on the flop.

I'd hate to play a 30-40bb stack at PLO8. Too hard to get 1/3 in pre, and not enough to give you any fold equity once past the flop.
