I wasn't sure how to play this. Pushing probably would have been +EV on the flop. Should I have bet it at any time. With the other caller, there was too much money in there to fold. I know I played it too passively but should I have just put in a big check raise on the flop?

Calling to keep players in is fine once somebody bets, although I sometimes try a check-raise with a hand like this. People'll put you on a set rather often and try to bluff when a heart falls or pay you off if they hit a lower straight, or call along with a similar draw and give up a potential freeroll or something.

Really, I think check-calling, betting out and check-raising all have something to recommend them on the flop. Once you get the bet and a call, I think a raise is perhaps marginally better than calling, the fold equity is good plus if you get two calls it's pure +EV with that collosal draw.

With you being such a favorite I'd go ahead and raise so if you do hit you can make the pot huge!!

I don't think it's clear cut one way or another but I like to jack up a pot like that.
