I'm talking about low stakes here since I'm sure as you go up it just won't work. But I was thinking about this last night.... Most of the low stakes PLO games even SH don't really seem typical of a "shorthanded" environment. It's not all that uncommon to have 5-6 players taking a flop.
So would playing tighter be a better strategy in an envoronment like that? In other words adhering more to the "play tighter in loose games, and loser in tight games" strategy? Even though you have more blind pressure in a 6 max game. Also it's generally fairly easy to get paid off fairly well in most situations.
