Hand 1 - I just call as i don't really raise preflop at all. No exaggerating, I don't raise really at all. Its just my style. Monk raises a lot but I treat pairs JJ-AA mostly as set it or fold. I prefer to play postflop so I call and look for a good flop.

Hand 2. Fold preflop. Don't even limp and definitely fold that flop. You have an open ended straight draw on a board with a flush draw so you have 2 less outs. Easy fold to that bet. However, I don't think your hand is good enough to even limp preflop let alone call a raise, especially out of positon.
