Did I really fish this one up?

$100 PLO8 on Full Tilt. I have been at the table for about a half hour and am up to $150 or so. Villain has about $100 and has played just about every hand so far, most for a raise preflop. Couple of other players at the table seem to be nut peddlers, rest are insignificant.

I get A24T with the ace being diamond suited in the cutoff. Villain is in the BB. 3 limpers to me, I hobble along with them. Button calls too, villain just checks, which means he definitely does not have AA or A2 or even A3. $3 in the pot preflop.

Flop comes 39T with 2 diamonds. Villain bets $2, there are 3 callers and I decide to peel one off with the tasty pot odds I'm getting. The button raises another 2 and it's called all the way around. $23 in the pot.

Turn is an offsuit 4. Villain now bets the $23 pot, one MP player calls (putting him all in) and it's to me. I try to do some quick math: I have the nut low draw. I have the nut flush draw. I have 2 pair. That gives me a lot of outs for at least half the pot, which is laying me 2:1 right now. I think villain will pay me off even if a diamond comes on the river, so I call.

The river is a 10. I have the second nut boat, no low possible. Villain bets about half the pot, almost putting himself all in. I raise it up and push him in, he of course calls.

My boat takes the pot, he mucks but the history showed he had 2399. He then gives me a bunch of shit for calling the turn bet. I tell him maybe a little better card selection preflop will do wonders for his bankroll, but that I appreciate him overplaying his middle set with no low hand. Blah blah blah, you know the deal.

He rebought and since then has been popping up at my tables (not that there's a whole lot of O8 options at FT), where I have taken at least another $100 off him. I guess I have a new friend. :D

I am going to assume that you have [Ad] [Td] and the board is [3d] [9d] [Tc] [4s]. In which case you have:
- 1 diamond for the nut top 1/2 (2d): 1/2 an out (worst case)
- 3 diamonds for the nut high with no low: 3 outs
- 4 diamonds for the nut nut: 3 outs
- 4 boat outs: 2 outs
- 4 wheel outs: 2 outs
- 12 low outs for nut low + 2 pair: 6 outs

Using almost worse case predictions for outs you have around 16. 16 outs means that you need 1.8:1 implied odds to continue and which with 2 opponents you are getting. I may have missed a case but I don't think it really matter beacuse you have a monster draw against 2 opponents. Easy call.

I'd have been tempted to just call the river, I think, but then I might be firing a little weak at present with all the nasty stuff I seem to be catching lately. That half pot bet seems like a milking-type bet, and his play all the way would be fairly consistent with 2 pair. I guess T3 and 99 will call you down (well, I'd probably drop 99 if I was him in certain spots, but he obviously wasn't the sort to do that...), so it's probably a good raise. I guess if he's weak enough to call down with a hand that looks to be beat on the river, then the raise looks much better :D.... In his spot, though, and IF I know you're a solid, strong player, I find it hard to call with less than T9 or the same hand as you on the riv.

I love the way he castigated you for calling in a 3-way pot when on the turn you have something like 41% of the equity and the big fat implied odds of him calling off his stack on the river regardless what hits pretty much. Sounds like you found a good player to tussle with!
