Table is playing very aggressively, and villain here is simply over-aggressive, only slightly below what I'd call the maniac threshold.

Villain, with $120, makes it $8 to go after a few limpers OTB. I (with $200) call in BB with AKK2 with suited A. The 3 limpers call to make a flop pot of $51.

Flop comes QT8r with Qc giving me runner-runner clubs in addition to my gutshot. I check. Deep stack player bets $12 in EP. This guy is quite LAG-ish but seems pretty good at it. He clearly steals quite a bit but often turns over nuttish hands in big pots. This extremely passive bet is pretty unusual for him. LP villain flat calls, so it now costs me $12 to see the turn with the pot currently at $72 and no one left to act. I decide to call for my gutshot with these odds. This isn't a call I'd make routinely by any means, but I think once in a while with a loose cannon in LP, it can be worth a try.

So, the turn is now a K, making my set and keeping the board rainbow. I check again. Deep stack checks, and LP bets $50 into the pot of $87. I think I'm probably ahead of LP but am unsure about deep stack, who is pretty tricky. I call, and deep stack folds.

River is a J, giving me the nut straight, but I may well be splitting this pot. I figure LP will push his last $45 and check. He pushes and shows T8 for flopped bottom 2 and no straight.

Thoughts?
