DId I just get stupidly aggressive when a short stack was in the hand? I figured i had to call the turn so I might as well bet it.

These guys make me crazy. Hit and run. If they double up, they run away like thieves and hide the loot. They really ruin the game. Most times they are lousy, anyway, which may be why they pull this stunt. Eventually, they'll give it all back. Unfortunately, it's to someone else.

you guys knew the results. He had the nut flush but they have two pair enough times to at least make this close to neutral EV IMO. I just can't give shorties the respect because I've seen them play crap too often.

Not useful for this hand, but the best way to punish a player for having a shortstack is by raising preflop, since that kills all implied odds and makes it a big mistake for him to call with a wide variety of hands.
