I like my last sentence, that having censored one word it looks like I could have said I was going to "shoot some smack" .... Anyway, I can't complain about bad luck because i've had some stonking fortune in the last two months and most of my losses this month (which, thanks to bonuses, are barely below break even) have been due to two (perhaps three) big fuck-ups by myself on $200 tables. I often talk about "big mistakes" (i.e. getting all in as a big equity dog, rather than a small one) and in truth doing fish things like chasing crap flushes against a player with a set aren't HUGE mistakes (just little ones that over time leak away a lot of money). Doing stuff like getting all in with a $250 for a pair of aces and a gutshot (as I did yesterday), chasing a draw when I KNOW someone is overplaying aces but when I know my flush might not be good (although I did have a 9-out straights draw too), which I also did yesterday, and that crappy play I posted I made a few days ago really hurt, because the tables until the last two days have been extra tight and so pissing away nearly $600 on hands where I was either a big dog or a pretty obvious dog is just moronic.
Like I say, a break usually does me good when I find myself slipping into bad habits. Hopefully you'll find the same thing.
